the palette has a good quality, but there is a strong magnet at the bottom of the palette (i believe it keeps the lid closed) and it magnetizes eyeshadow pans when you try to insert them. you have to insert them from the top, not the bottom then it's okay. i also scratched the back trying to pop out the eyeshadows through the hole using a bent paper clip. make sure you really hit the hole when you want to get the eyeshadow out.
